Modern Warfare 4 Skin Changer: Are Cosmetic Modifications Worth It?

Random question for the customization people.

How important are operator skins and weapon cosmetics to you?

I keep seeing discussions about skin changers in different games. I'm curious about the difference between normal in-game cosmetics and external cosmetic modification tools.

Also, do third-party cosmetic tools always show the same appearance to other players?

Not necessarily. Some cosmetic modifications can be client-side only, meaning the appearance might not be visible to other players.

That's what I was wondering.

Official cosmetics are the straightforward option. At least you know they're supported by the game.

Third-party cosmetic tools are different. Compatibility and visibility depend on how the particular software works. See skin customization tool docs if you are comparing a local client.

I just want more decent operator outfits. Half the time I spend longer in the customization screen than in a match.

Same here. Weapon blueprints are where I spend most of my time.

lol the customization screen is its own game.
