Does an HWID Spoofer Remove a Modern Warfare 4 Ban?

Closed thread Closed by archive

I've seen HWID spoofer mentioned in a few gaming discussions, and I'm trying to understand what it actually does.

If someone receives a hardware-related ban in MW4, does a spoofer automatically remove it?

Or are account bans and hardware restrictions two completely different things?

Not looking for a workaround tutorial. Just want to understand the terminology.

They're not the same thing. An HWID spoofer changes how certain hardware identifiers are presented to software. It doesn't automatically reverse an account penalty.

Correct. A game account restriction and a hardware-related restriction are separate enforcement concepts.

So even if a tool changes hardware identifiers, that doesn't mean the account gets restored?

Exactly. And don't assume a product supports MW4 unless its current documentation explicitly says so.

If someone believes a ban was issued incorrectly, the official appeal process is the sensible route.

People need to stop treating spoofers like magic reset buttons lol.

That clears it up. Thanks. The HWID Spoofer information page explains what that utility covers without pretending it fixes every account case.
